grades UPDATED
all grades have been graded. Overall grades have dropped due to what? Thats right, textbook work. I rarely assign textbook work when I am in class, ONLY when I am gone and there's a substitute teacher is there ALWAYS textbook work assigned. is textbook work that difficult? I'm speaking to our SECOND year Cybercorps students, especially. Right now, our second-years are not doing so well.
Another drop in your grade is the low quiz scores, thankfully quiz scores don't really impact your overall grade, but regardless, if our exams are going to be based on ALL quiz questions, then you should probably review more. We'll work out the details in the next couple weeks.
I'll provide a grade printout when I see you all on Tuesday.

I'm working on updating grades
Three weeks into second semester and I'm already behind! No worries. I've been updating the gradebook all evening, along with some wow breaks. Quiz scores are a bit low, hoping to get all the word searches added to the gradebook tomorrow sometime. Everyone should know the routine regarding the class at this point.
I've come up with a great idea for the exams. I'm thinking we have at most three exams over this semester. Our first exam would includes chapters 13-17. The questions would be m/c along with a couple essays, AND, it would all be completed on Synchroneyes using previous quiz questions. I'd provide a review sheet of course. The expectation would be to assign the review sheet as homework and complete it using your notes. Pretty much I would copy/paste the questions to a word document, around 50 questions, two essays and give that to you in the form of an exam.
Second exam would probably be: chapters 18-21
Third exam would be: chapters 22-last chapter (26 i think).
Let me know what you think.
Enjoy your weekend
